Ultimate Plus PPF provides a sacrificial layer to protect against rock chips and scratches. The film is self healing. Prime Plus window tint has four levels of film. The highest level blocks 99% of cancer causing and fade causing UV light and 98% of heat causing IR light. You can get these benefits without having tint that is so dark you have trouble at night.
